Tradition meets innovation

The “Gesellschaft fuer Fertigungstechnik und Maschinenbau“ (in English translated to corporation for manufacturing and mechanical engineering), short GFM, has stood for innovation since its founding in 1945. For over 70 years, we have been developing and building machines for industry that demand the highest levels of productivity and accuracy.

In the segment niches where we participate, we are world market leaders. The invention of the radial forging machine, various achievements in the milling sector and the use of ultrasonic technology for composite materials attest to this.

Now in the third generation of owners, GFM continues to present itself as a worldwide special machine builder. Always based on a deep understanding of the application technology, our designers develop machines and systems tailored to individual customer needs. Our range of services span from design and development of control systems to production and assembly. Together with a strong service team, we cover all key areas that lay the foundation for the success of a machine or plant in all phases of its life. The backbone of this success is my employees, some of whom we also train in-house. Their expertise, experience, diligence and dedication are the guarantee for modern products, intelligent solutions, the highest quality and first class service.

In the future as well, we will stand for tailor-made and new ideas in order to give customers exactly that advantage in order to be able to maintain or take a leading role on the global market.
